ORS Replenishing Deep Conditioner

Do you want happy, strong and moisturised hair. Look no further than ORS Olive Oil Replenishing Deep Conditioner. This product is amazing. First it smells of lemon/lime cheesecake...and if anyone knows me. I can finish a whole lemon cheesecake. Then it leaves hair feeling soooo soft but at the same time strong and makes hair pretty shiny.

What the product label says
  • Helps restore moisture
  • Rebuilds damaged hair
  • Stimulates the root of your hair
  • Deep penetrating conditioner

Organic Root Stimulator Olive Oil Replenishing Conditioner softens, detangles, moisturizes and strengthens hair. Formulated with olive oil, silk proteins, and sweet orange oil which provides the ultimate conditioning experience. Hair is left restored with moisture and a natural shine.

Are the claims true?
So so so true. This deep conditioner is the truth!! It does it all softens, strengthens and moisturises. I am not very sure if it detangles but detangling for me is always a hustle because my hair tends to knot very easily. It provides both moisture and protein. I am not very sure if it stimulates hair roots but hey no product ever lives up to its expectations.
Where to buy?
The ORS replenishing pack is found in most beauty stores and costs about Kshs 575 for a bottle. This will last a really long time and it also comes in sachets which go for about Kshs 150. If you can try and buy the bottle, saves more money.

Does it have any sulfate, or mineral oil or petroleum ingredients. I read somewhere that those damage African hair. But I'll check it out. :D Thanks

@Little Lydiah, It does not have any of those ingredients and I know everyone says that mineral oil and petrolatum are awful but some ladies get on well with products that contain that....as a newbie you may get a lot of info..sift through it and use what works for you

@Nyachomba Kariuki, does it leave hair looking afro-curly. I'm going natural and would love to know if it works with natural hair... Please also let me know what products I can use to have something similar to what you have?

@Frida your hair can only look similar to hers if you have a similar hair texture. If you have no curls or coils no products will magically produce such. If you naturally have coils/curls then having well moisturized hair will insure that your curls are the springest and most defined. If you don't have natural coils then braid out and twist outs can be achieved to get the look you desire. Good luck.
